' 'John Philip Strauss, the younger brother, married Anna Margaret Reimer,on Feb. 28, 1744. They passed their lives on their ‎(now Rev. Trexler's)‎plantation. He died shortly before May 38, 1792 ‎(the date of the probateof his will)‎, his wife probably surviving him, as she is mentioned in hiswill. They had nine children, viz... Maria Christina, born Feb. 20,1749. She married Christian Zerbe, son of John and Catharine Zerbe, bornDec. 25, 1750, on June 3, 1773. They moved to White Deer Township,Northumberland ‎(now Union)‎ County, Pa.
