JANESVILLE--- Dorothy C. Johnson, age 89, of 930 N. Washington St., died Mon., March 13, 2006, at her home. She was born on Nov. 15, 1916, in Center Township, Rock County, to Otto and Mattie ‎(Draphal)‎ Wesenberg. Dorothy married David N. Johnson on June 13, 1936, in Oregon, IL. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2001. She was a member of the Afton Community Church and Local 1266 International Airspace Workers. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, making craft items, and going out for dinner.She also enjoyed trapping with her late husband.

She is survived by a son, Wayne ‎(Gail)‎ Johnson of Janesville; 2 daughters, Marilyn ‎(Lavern)‎ Stelter of Janesville, Janette ‎(Gene)‎ Stelter of Ferryville; 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Wesenberg; and 5 sisters: Dora Wesenberg, Grace Butler, Edna Chesmore, Mabel Williams, and Florence Wesenberg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday March 18 , 2006 at the Afton Community Church. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNIEDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME, 1800 E. Racine St.
