Dear Dori,

Your George Washington Zimmerman of Spring Grove, born 25 February 1828, looks like a promising connection to my Keturah Zimmerman, born 31 Jan 1846, at Centre County, PA, and married at Spring Grove, WI, on 27 May 1866 to Franklin H. Adleman, by Reverend Cooley of Spring Grove. This was all duly recorded in the family Bible. Keturah had a brother George and a sister Sophia.

I'm new at this. There seems to be a strange fascination to this hobby of looking for clues to find one's ancesters. I'd appreciate a note from you if you know anything that relates to my query. Thanks.

Franks brother George was deaf. All three of Franks sons were deaf as were the sons of his brother. Franks sons attended the WI School for the Death in Delevan. This is where John E met his wife who was also deaf.
