He and his wife Maria Elisabetha had 9 children; baptisms of 6 of them are in the church register at Meisenheim. He was a carpenter and, after immigrating, supposedly first lived in or near Philadelphia, then Oley Twp, Berks Co. His brother (or cousin) went to South Carolina. Both lived in the same villiage in Germany and left at the same time. |
