Will of John Jacob Hill, 1775
In the name of God amen I John Jacob Hill of the township of Windsor County of Berks and Province of Pennsylvania being weak of Body but of Sound mind and memory blessed be god for the Same Do make my Last will and testament Concerning my wordly Estate in manner following that is to Say First: I ordain that all my Just Debts Shall be payd Second: I give and bequeath to my Son Jacob Hill his Heirs and Assigns for Ever all my Land or Plantation Situate in windsor aforesaid together with all my Horses Cows Sheep Swine and all kind of husbandtry and moveable wich is now on the Said Plantation nothing Excepted Thirdly: george nicholas hildebrand and anmary his wife and adam myer and Catereni his wife and John hill having Received ther full Part wich I intended for there Sheare there for the Shall make no Demand on my Son Jacob hill Fourthly: I give and bequeath to my sonin Law John heffely the Sum of thirty Pounds Lawfull money of the Province aforesaid Fifthly: I give and bequeath to my Son Peter hill ‎(the said Peter to Receive his money in one year)‎ the Sum of twenty Pound Lawfull money of the Province ..... his portion in full Sixthly: I give and bequeath to my Son Frederick hill fifty Pound Law money as afore said Seventhly: I give to my Cashper hill the Sum of fifty Pound Lawfull money of the province afore Said Eighthly: my will is that my Son Jacob hill ___ Let my beloved wife Elisabeth have Leav in the Dwelling house I now Live as to the Rome and Chiten and to Let her have my bed and so much Chiten furnature as is necesery for her use the bed she Can Do with wat she Please Lastly:
