JUDA/BRODHEAD— Anna Bernice (Blaser) Ehlert, 76, of Juda, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on Aug. 19, 1929, in Avon Township, daughter of Ernest and Bernice (Hilton) Blaser. She was first married to Donald Coplien and then she married Rodney Ehlert on June 25, 1971, in Brodhead. Anna had been employed at Ten Eyck Orchards and the former Chalet, APCO Mfg., and Brodhead Cold Storage. For the last 35 years she has farmed with her husband in the Juda/Brodhead area. She is survived by her husband, Rodney; 2 daughters, Linda (Robert) Buehl of Bluffton, IN, and Lynnette (Leo) Martin of Brodhead; 2 sons, Lonnie (Karen) Coplien of Janesville and Donald (Angela) Coplien of Margate, FL; stepdaughter, Beth (Howard) Austin of Janesville; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Bardell of Rockford, IL; and 3 brothers: Clarence and Robert Blaser of Beloit and Ralph Blaser of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Coplien; a granddaughter, Amber Miller; a sister, Mardell; and brothers, Herbert and Melvin Blaser. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10, 2006, at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI, with Pastor Steve Groves officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Saturday, until time of services. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Stem Cell Research.
