Lucy died as a result of child birth , her infant daughter died 1 month and 8 days later. She had a number of other children die within a month. I suspect she was ill, as were her children, when she gave birth to Hattie. With 6 of his 10 children now dead, Redmond remarries and moves to Iowa. Buried with her children, and next to a surving son George per the 1860 census birth locations, it appears Lucy and her husband moved here before 1858. This would be earlier than her folks (1863). It's possible the came her with her Aunt Eliz. Zimmerman and her husband George. |
