Mrs. Julia Kopplin, 76, died at her home, 950 Main St., Tuesday evening (7 April 1942) following an illness of several weeks. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Anton Weizenegger of Eau Claire and one granddaughter, Mrs. Lavern Hehli, Town of Washington; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Wilhelm Welke of Fall Creek and Michael Welke of Eau Claire. Mrs. Kopplin was the daughter of the late Andreas and Wilhelmina Welke and was married 14 September 1882 to Julius Kopplin who died 17 years ago. Private funeral services were held for the family at Gaal Funeral home and at St. John's Lutheran Church. Interment was at Trinity Cemetery, Fall Creek.
