Freda R Kopplin was b. 26 Aug 1892 in Sauk County. In 1929 she is single and travels to England. She never married and died in 1971 in Appleton, Outagamie County Wisconsin. I have not been able to determine who her parents are. In 1904 a Lydia Kopplin of Outagamie County marries Louis Suemnicht. She is the daughter of Henry, Granddaughter of Leo S.
There is a Walter Pesky born 6 Jan 1890 in Outagamie County. There are several Walters of about the same age, one is near Green Lake, one in Dodge County and one in Dane County. One would have to buy the certificate from the State Historical Society to see if there is a connection to Christlieb.

I suspect if she had died close to home, she would be buried with her husband. Since she isn't and since Dane is close to Sauk, I suspect for some reason she was at her brother's home in Dodge or Waupaca County when she died, a further distance from home, and that is where she is buried. If she had been buried near home, I would also expect that after her husband died, he would have been buried next to her or her body moved next to his. His death was only 7 years later.
There was a Middlestadt who married a Piekse and lived in Dane County. It's also possible she was buried on the farm of a brother-in-law but this still wouldn't explain, why, if she died that close to home, she wouldn't be buried with her husband.
