Mary Margaret Knecht
Mrs. Mary Margaret Knecht, wife of W. T. Knecht, passed away at herhome in Lock Haven at 8:30 o'clock on Wednesday morning, as the result ofa stroke of paralysis sustained about an hour previous.
She was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Sophia c. Schaefferand was born at Nittany, this county (Centre) allmost 66 years abgo. Hergirlhood life was spent at the home of her birth but when a young womanshe was united in marriage to W. T. Knecht, and practically all hermarried life has been spent at Clintondale(Not Clintondale, but Parvin)and in Lock Haven. She is survived by her husband, two sons, and twodaughters, namely: Frank Knecht, of Akron, Ohio, a member of the Seniorclass at State College; M. Lillian and Mabel E. at home. She also leavestwo brothers and two sisters, L. A. Schaeffer of Bellefonte, W. E.Schaeffer of Mifflinburg; Mrs. H. Kate Allison of Chicago, and Mrs.Lincoln H. Swartz of Hublersburg.
Funeral services will be held at her late home on south Fairviewstreet, Lock Haven, at ten o'clock tomorrow (Saturday) morning, burial tobe made in Memorial Bethel cemetery near Clintondale.

Death of Mrs. W. T. Knecht at Lock Haven.
Mrs. W. T. Knecht, one of Lock haven's best known and most highlyesteemed residents, died suddenly Wednesday morning after an illnessfollowing a stroke of little more than an hour.
Deceased who would have been 66 years of age had she lived untilJuly, was born at Nittany, Pa. Her maiden name was Mary Margaret Shaffer,and she was a member of one of the best kknown families in this part ofthe state, being the daughter of B. F. Shaffer, who was a number of yearssheriff of Center county.
She was the wife of W. T. Knecht, former County Treasurer.
