David Haas, in 1856, located in Spring Grove, on section 33, living there until 1868, when he bought land on section 27, and moved there and lived until his death, which occurred in November, 1881. His wife he had lost by death in 1859, three years after coming to this town, and in 1864, he was married to Mrs. Mary Ann Snyder, widow of Samuel Snyder. She survives him and lives at the homestead. |
