arrives America about 1862-63 Lived in Watertown, Jefferson Cty Wi , then Janesville Rock Cty WI Note From http://www.ghgcorp.com/cashultz/genweb/fam00405.htm ; Family Records of Michael Ko pplin (Bottom of page - no Michael in index)/ Dori Coplien Also found at http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/s/h/u/Charles-A-Shultz/COL449-0011.html perhaps 2 Carl Fred's each married to a Caroline - both live in the same area but have not found graves of either 06/18/2001 - another Carl found with Otto in Cormel Cty Texas. Oct 5, 1892 (Janesville) Gazette Fred Coplin died at Carter Farm , three miles from town this morning, age 65 years. One son and 4 daughters survive him, one of them being Mrs. Truman Mosher of this city. This obit seems to confirm that there are two Carl's, about the same age, both living in the Janesville area at about the same time. |
