PATRICK NEWMAN, farmer, Sec. 23; P.O. Reedsburg; son of William and Ellen (Keenan) Newman; was born in County Longford, Ireland, in 1828; came to the United States in 1850; made his home in Brooklyn, N.Y., for fifteen years. He was married, June 23, 1861, to Catherine, daughter of Felix and Catharine (McGregor) Donley; she was born in Ireland; they have three children - Ellen, Edward and Katie. In 1865, he moved to Allegany Co., N.Y.; after a residence there of four years, he came to Sauk Co., Wis., and settled on Sec., 23; they have 80 acres of land. Mr. Newman has been Treasurer of his School District nine years.
