Miss Perla Emma Mundhenke and Clarence H. MeCaughey, both of Lincoln, were united in marriage Aug. 16 at 8 p. m. at the home of the bride's brother, Levi Mundhenke of Milford. The vows were spoken before a background of white wedding bejls, ferns, garden flowers and three large baskets of pink gladioli. Rev. E. E Lewis, pastor of the Methodist church in Pleasant Dale read the marriage lines 111 trie presence of 25 guests. Mrs Lewis played the wedding march and accompanied Mrs Ed Plessel of Milford who sang.
Miss Olga Mundhenke of Haigler, niece of the loride, who served as maid of honor, wore a gown of aqua taffeta and carried Ophelia roses. Helen and Arlene Mundhenke, nieces of the bride, were dressed in pink dotted Swiss frocks, and carried rose pink pompon asters. Jeanette Mundhenke, another niece, dressed in aqua crepe, strewed white rosebuds on
the bridal path.. Donald Mundhenke, nephew of the bride, carried the ring on a satin pillow trimmed in lace.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Wallace Mundhenke, was attired in a gown of ivory satin made floor length with a tram. A spider webb lace jacket was worn with the dress and the bride had ivory satin slippers with rhinostone buckles and carried a bouquet of sunburst rosebuds and baby breath.
Levi Mundhenke served as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held. The table was centered with a wedding cake topped with a miniature bridal couple.
Out of town guests were Miss Agnes Matyke of Lincoln and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Mundhenke and daughters, Olga and Helen of Haigler.
Mr. MeCaughey and his bride left Thursday by auto for an extended trip to California. The bride wore as her traveling costume an ensemble of navy blue with gray, accessories.
