SEWARD. Neb., April 20 Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Rev. R. J. MeKenzie officiating, for George Fosler, 86. Civil war veteran, who died Sunday morning, after a long illness. A native of Wisconsin, Mr. Fosler served in Company B, 46th Illinois infantry, enlisting when he was but 19 years old. He came to Seward county soon after the war. and had resided on the present f arm continuously for 55 years. Last month Mr. and Mrs. Fosler celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary. His wife and seven children, Ed. Orin, Roy, Harry. Ira Mrs. Clara Fuller and Mrs. Irene Wolgamuth all of this county, are the immediate surviving family. The American Legion will have charge of the military services at the funeral and interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery near Ruby. |
