Lovinia and James are 1st cousins....see father's obit

Lovina BRACE was born in York State, July 4th, 1844, and died at her home in Avon, March 25th, 1918, at the age of 73 years, eight months, twenty-one days of dropsy. She came with her parents to Avon, Wis., when but a child. She was united in marriage to James BRACE, Sept., 1864. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Cora NELSON, of Brodhead.

Mrs. BRACE leaves to mourn her loss her husband, one daughter, three grand children, five great grand children; two brothers, Calvin BRACE of Brodhead; Eddie BRACE, of Rockford; three sisters, Mrs. Trils HUNT, Mrs. Annie SHIELDS, Mrs. Mary VAUGHN, of Platteville.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Levin, Wednesday afternoon at her late home. The Interment being made in the Avon cemetery. Her six nephews acted as pall bearers.
