Janesville Gazette February 28, 1922 - February 10, 2008 Mary Josephine Dooley of Rock Haven passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at Mercy Hospital. Mary was born in Janesville on Feb. 28, 1922, the daughter of Bernard and Mary (Fanning) Dooley. Mary Jo was the oldest of eight children. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School and later supported the war effort by working in the Janesville munitions plant during WWII. She was later employed by Parker Pen in Janesville before marrying George Sullivan on May 6, 1946. She is survived by her son, John (Sally) Page of Beaverton, OR; daughter, Mary (Tom) Ray of Janesville; 3 sisters: Dorothy (Douglas) Pangier of Janesville, Therese Murray of Durham, NC, and Margaret (William) Larson of Cottage Grove, WI; 2 brothers, William (Linda) Dooley and Jim Dooley, both of Janesville; and 6 grandchildren: Tammy Page of Beaverton, OR, Jessica (Robert) Brink of Wauwatosa, WI, Meghan (Ross) MacPherson of Janesville, Shawn Ray (Lisa Salinas) of Madison, WI, Keegan and Christian Ray, both of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, John and Richard Dooley; and a grandson, Christopher Ray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, with Rev. Stephen J. Umhoefer officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
