It appears he may have died just prior to leaving England. No record of his arrival can be found, only that of his wife and children . Other records show he died in NY. His will was probated in England which leads me to think he did in fact die in England. Will shows the name of his wife as Ann.
Since Samuel and William can not be accounted for, they may have died young or could be the start of some of the unaccounted for Bancroft lines in MA. Ann died in CT. It's assumed she lived her life in America with one of her children.
