Hintz, Leonora G.
Leonora G. Hintz, 90, Lincoln, died Saturday (7/31/04) in Lincoln. Born Western (4/14/14) to Frank and Elsie (Brunkow) Hintz. Attended Nebraska Wesleyan University, University of Nebraska, Colorado State at Greeley, master of education at UNL. Retired elementary school teacher. Taught in Lincoln Public Schools 25 years, four rural schools in Saline County, then Emerson, Lexington and Hastings. She also worked at the University of Nebraska Extension Division. Member: St. Paul United Methodist Church; St. Paul United Methodist Women; Lincoln Area Retired Teachers Association; Nebraska Retired Teachers Association; past member, Project Health.
Survivors: sister, Bernice Biehl; nieces, spouses, Debra and Craig VanSice, Tucson, Ariz., Sharon and John Donovan, Milwaukie, Ore.; nephew, spouse, Harold J. and Peggy Biehl, Hudson, Mich.; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; two great-great-nephews; one great-great-niece. Preceded in death by parents.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1144 M St., Lincoln. Internment, 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Western Cemetery, Western. Visitation: noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Roper &Sons Funeral Home, 4300 OSt. Memorials: St. Paul United Methodist Memorial Fund; Eastmont Towers Foundation.
