The Wave George A. Richey George A. Richey, one of three children born to William Richey and Lizzie Cup, was born on Nov. 4, 1879, at Birmingham Iowa, and passed away at a local hospital at Fairbury, Ne. on February 13, 1962, at the age of 82 years, 2 months, and 9 days. Mr. Richey lived in and around Fairbury most of his life, where he worked as a brakeman for the Burlington Rail Road, and later as a carpenter, and a farmer. In 1901, he was united in marriage to Miss Matilda Kaiser, of Saline Co. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank and Jim. He is survived by his wife Tillie and a host of friends. |
