BRODHEAD? Alice M. Nolty, age 74, of Monroe, formerly of Brodhead and Albany, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on Dec. 25, 1929 in Spring Grove Township, Green County, the daughter of Henry and Nettie (Hawkins) Swenson. She married Myron Nolty on July 7, 1947 in Brodhead. Alice attended a rural school near Brodhead and worked at Oaktron Industries of Monroe for 15 years. She also farmed with her husband before moving to Monroe in 2000. She regularly attended the adult Hand-In-Hand Day Center. She is survived by her husband; her children: Diana (Robert) Moen, Monroe, Thomas (Shirley) Nolty, Janesville, Beverly Bittner, Fountain Hill, AZ, John Nolty, So. Wayne, Betty (Jack) Dunn, Cape Coral, FL, and Connie (Ted) Daly, Riverton, WY; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Sharon) Swenson; and 2 sisters, Nina (Carl) Davidson and June Niedermeier, all of Brodhead. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Myron "Mike"; a sister, Thelma Bliss; a granddaughter, Chelsie Dunn; and a grandson, Thomas Dunn. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2004 at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Brodhead. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. Monday until time of services. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead
