Published Friday, December 15, 2006 - The Times Plus, Monroe, WI MYRON A. NOLTY Myron A. Nolty, age 81, of Monroe, formerly of Brodhead and Albany, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2006, at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home, Monroe, WI. He was born on October 12, 1925 in Sylvester Township, Green County, WI, the son of Albert and Harriet (Keller) Nolty. He married Alice M. Swenson on July 7, 1947 in Brodhead, WI. She died on August 12, 2004. Myron had farmed in the Green County area for many year and had worked for the former Iroquois Foundry, Browntown, WI, and Lanz Metal Works of Beloit, WI. He is survived by his children, Diana (Robert) Moen, Monroe, WI, Thomas (Shirley) Nolty, Janesville, WI, Beverly (Randy Simler) Bittner, Fountain Hill, AZ, Betty (Jack) Dunn, Cape Coral, FL, John Nolty and Connie (Ted) Henderson, both of Beloit, WI, three sisters, Eva Hawkins, Monroe, WI, Bonnie (Chet) Lewis, Brodhead, WI, Vivian (Wilbur) Krause, Kalispell, MT, twenty-two grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, Myron "Mike", a granddaughter, Chelsie Dunn, and a grandson, Thomas Dunn. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2006, at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI, with Rev. Ronald E. Massen officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., Saturday, until time of services. |
