1790 - Lebanon, Dauphin, PA can not be confirmed as the son of Walter. Others in PA do not appear to be our Joseph's father. They are older/younger and were born in Ireland. Early records of Dauphin PA would indicate our Joseph was born in the colonies but not all the early PA McCools are accounted for. It is also possible that Joseph's father is a cousin to this line. |
