According to Thorkild Bjørnvig's memoires:

He moved to København, got married, and established a laundry,
especially for the marine navy. It was on R+dmandsgade street
in København.

It is not clear whether he was christened Pedersen, or whether
he changed his name to Pedersen. But it owes to the standing
tradition of the time of taking the father's first name as part
of the last name ‎("Peder's son")‎. But he wanted to get rid of
the name Ravn ‎(see notes on Peder, his father, and on Theodor,
his son--who would change the name to Bjørnvig)‎.

Was in the war n 1864 as a corporal with the artillery and was
wounded in the throat. He fell from his horse cart delivering
laundry. He was an alcoholic, he was unable to recover from the
fall and eventually died from it.

By both his wives ‎(?)‎ ‎(who were sisters)‎ he had six children.

Theodore is from the first marriage. His mother died when he
was four years.

Theodor's oldest brother ‎(from the first marriage of his parents)‎ was
a doctor in Havdrup ‎(he was older by Theodor by 11 years)‎, and the
youngest brother ‎(from the second marriage)‎
became a teacher and school inspector ‎(head of a school)‎ in Valby.
The second oldest brother ‎(supposedly the smartest of them)‎ ended
as a working man, and was also an alcoholic.
