Published on: 8/3/2004 Janesville Gazette BRODHEAD- Earl Richard Pinnow, 92, of Brodhead, WI, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2004, at his home. He was born on Sept. 12, 1911, in Stephenson County, IL, the son of William C. and Annie (Ronneburg) Pinnow. He married Bertha Schneider on May 6, 1933, at the parsonage in Rock Grove, IL. They celebrated their 71st anniversary in May. Earl moved to Green County, rural Brodhead, in 1925. He farmed on the family farm on Town Center Road from 1934 until 1980, when he moved to Brodhead. He had served on the church council, was the Sunday School superintendent, and taught adult Sunday School classes for many years at the State Line Lutheran Church. He also was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Brodhead, and had served on the church council. He was a past member of the Farm Bureau, assessor for Spring Grove Township, served on school boards for rural schools, and was a 4-H leader. |
