The Rockford Morning Star , Saturday October 5, 1929 page 20 Mrs. Ida Hartman of Durand Dies -- Durand Oct 4 -- Mrs. Ida Hartman, 70 years old, widow of John Hartman , died Thursday night at her home here after an illness of several weeks from heart trouble. She was born in Spring Grove, Wis. May 3, 1859 and was married Feb 10, 1880. Her husband died eight years ago. She is survived by seven daughters, Mable and Dorothy of Durand, Mrs. Grace O'Neill of Indianapolis, Helen Hartman, San Francisco, Nellie Hartman of Spokane, Allie Hartman of Rockford, Mrs. Berneice Green of Spring Grove, five sons, Frank, Morton, Stanley, Floyd of Durand, Samuel of Rockford, 10 grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. Arthur Hintzman and Mrs. Kate Woodling and one brother Albert Brobst, the last three of Brodhead Wis. Funeral Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock at Durand Methodist Episcopal Church and burial will be in the State Line Cemetary. |
