Johann Adam arrived in America on the ship Joyce in 1730 (Philadelphia) No other Hoff's were listed with him on the ship. Johann Adam and wife Juliana were burried in the Moravian Church cemetery in York Co. Pennsylvania. The Adam Hoff family farm in York Co. was located on the Codorus Creek about 12 miles from York on the southern edge of the present town of Spring Grove. The land was obtained through 2 warrants, dated 1749 and 1767. |
