The name of Eliza Burge comes from Barbara Farnsworth, a descendant of William's brother John.
Pat Topper thinks that William's birth date was actually Dec 1 1813.
From Barbara Farnsworth: In October 1865 William Hauger, his wife, Eliza and their six children, Jim, Mary, Emma, Malinda, Henry, and Robert, loaded up their possessions on wagons and started for Middletown, Indiana. His brother Solomon, a farmer who lived on the Hauger Hill, one mile north of town, and his brother-in-law, Sim Elliott, a blacksmith in Middletown, urged William to come up here from near Paole, Orange County, Indiana, to engage in the building of wagons, thinking it an excellent opportunity for him. It is not known just where he had his shop, but most likely it was with Sim Elliott in his blacksmith shop. Solomon Hauger and Sim Elliott had moved to Middletown some time earlier. Sim Elliott was married to Lavina Hauger.

Emily ''Emma'' Hauger, born October 04, 1852 in Indiana; died November 28, 1911. She married Josephus Thomas.
Melinda Jane Hauger, born March 23, 1855 in Indiana; died July 24, 1901. She married Charles E. Yeager. Charley Yeager was Frank Yeager's son. Frank was the son of Vincent and Sarah (Piety) Yeager.
William Henry Hauger, born April 26, 1858 in Indiana; died November 21, 1937. He married Letta Nash.
From Bob Hauger : ''I do have a copy of the Death Certificate for the William Hauger buried at West Lawn Cemetery in Prairie Creek. His father's name was Soloman. Soloman appears in the 1830 and 1840 census in Washington County IN. Last September I visited the Prairie
Creek West Lawn Cemetery and took pictures of the headstones for William Hauger and Eliza G.(wife of Wm.) William died age 81y, 4m, 6d.
