We are not certain who were the parents of Hinderk, but we think this is correct. The official church records in Germany do NOT list Hinderk as a son of Aiken Hinderk Kruse, but Helene Nanninga thought that he was a son of this family. According to records from Helene Nanninga (January 4, 1978) , his Granddaughter Conrad Kruse owned a porcelian factory (Porzellangeschaft und Brennerei Kruse (Kruse Porcelin Factory) 1872-1938) in Emden, Germany and ran it with his sister, Teda Friederuken Kruse(wife of Johann Nanninga, mother of Helene Nanninga) Konrad inherited the factory from his father, Hinderks Aiken Kruse, after Hindale's death in 1894. The father of Hinderk Aiken Kruse was Aiken Hinderk. |
