SSN 042-18-4800 Was inducted into the service in 1941. He attended New MexicoA & M, Iowa State University, University of South Dakota, and graduated from Jefferson Medical College, in Phildelphia, PA in 1949. He completed an internship and medical residency at Allentown Gereral Hospital, Allentown, PA. He wasthen drafted into the Medical Corps of the US Air Force, serving from 1951 to1953. After another residency at Allentown General and a fellowship in allergyat the University of IL, Chicago, he practiced in Oak Park for 4 years. Board certified in practicing in Oak Park, he donated his services to the allergyclinic of the University of Chicago and continued for many years after movingto Rockford. He was on the staff Rockford Memorial Hospital and on the courtesy staffs of Swedish American Hoospital and St. Anthony Medical Center. He was the first allergist to practice in Rockford. Since 1985 he was affiliated with the University of IL, College of Medicine, Rockford, as a clinical assistant professor of medicine in the department of Allergy retiring 1 Sep 1993. A member of the American College of Physicians and American Academy of Allergy andImmunology, he was also a past president of the Chicago Society of Allergy. |
