Wednesday, September 5, 1979 - Rochester Sentinel Edith V. Walters Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Trinity United Methodist church for Edith V. WALTERS, 90, Grace Village, Winona Lake, who died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in Miller’s Merry Manor nursing home, Warsaw. She had been ill for three years. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Morris HOWELL with burial in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home from 2-9 pm. Thursday and at the church one hour prior to services. Mrs. Walters was born Jan. 30, 1889, in Perryburg to the Rev. F. C. and Mary LOSIER MOON. She was married Dec. 25, 1910 in Rochester to the Rev. Clyde R. WALTERS, who survives. She was a retired teacher and a member of the Trinity United Methodist church, Morning Glory class and the Missionary Society. Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Byron (Marie)_ SHORE, Rochester, and Mrs. George (Dorothy) CUMBERLAND, Warsaw; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Myre BLACKBURN, Rochester, and Mrs. Zona BERGER, Akron; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson. A grandson, two sisters and a brother preceded in death. |
