David Isaac Zimmerman Resides in Limestone Twp., Clinton Co. in 1840 near his daughter Sarah Calwell and also near John Barner, father-in-law to son George Isaac Zimmerman Sr. died Apr. 6, 1877 75 yrs. 6 mo. 19 das. Text John 17-24. Information of this family line from Isaac Zimmerman's bible and George Zimmerman's bible - some death dates from headstones No land grant reocrds found for Isaac. Matthias/Daniel 1846 and Henry 1859. Henry was for George and Henry, followed by their father Isaac W. - Perhaps Matthias, who got 2 tracks of land, got one for Isaac. arrived in Steph. Cty IL in 1849. Later found that his fathers name was Matthias. George and his father Isaac both lived in Rock Grove Twp in 1871 Town 28 North Range 9 East This should be the same section that State Line Cmty is in as George donated the land. The church on the Illinois side was started in this year of 1871. The church on the other side was torn down and wood re-used to build a barn on the property of Isaac W Zimmerman, Spring Grove, WI |
