SARAH C., wife of James R. Keeler, died suddenly at 6:30 o'clock last evening at her home, 531 Russell Ave., Seventeenth Ward. She had been afflicted with heart disease for some time, but she was able to be about until Sunday when she attended services in the Moxham United Evangelical Church, of which she was a devoted member.
She was confined to her room yesterday, but was able to be about and shortly after 6 o'clock last evening walked to the bathroom for a drink of water. Upon her return to her room, she lay down on the bed and was conversing with her husband, when she suddenly expired. Dr. Koontz was hastily summoned and pronounced the cause of her death as heart failure.
Mr. & Mrs. Keeler and family came to Johnstown a number of years ago and located in Moxham. The deceased is survived by her husband and the following children:
Kate, wife of Frederick Paul; John Wesley Keeler, Jennie, Frank, George, Christ, Annie and Ella, all of the Seventeenth Ward.
The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. F. W. Ware, pastor of the Moxham United Evangelical Church, will conduct the obsequies and interment will be made in Grandview Cemetery.
