Chosen deacon in 1754. He was a man of great agility and strength, and attained the age of 96 years. His daughter Mary, m. Jabez Fitch of Willimantic. From her is descended one branch of the Willimantic Fitches, including J.C. Fitch, principal of the Pine Grove Seminary, South Windham.
