The youngest of ten children. Here family moved east in the 1830's.After she married they move to Durand where other members of her familyhad also moved. Sarah was widowed young and she remarried and later moved to Primgar,IA. She lived to be 80yrs. and when she died was buried under the Gagename. Known as Sally. Ms. Lundin says in her book that in 1932 Emilie Crandell Blake wrote to another family member (?). In this letter she stated that they were Methodists. She spoke of her grandmother being born in New Brunswick, NJ and after the death of her parents went to live with her grandmother on Staten Island,NY. She later went to live with her sister in New York City, Abigail Angle. Burial December 29, 1904 Greenwood Cemetery, Park Rapids, MN |
