Roots web message board 26 Oct 2001 I am researching the Rosheisen family. My husband's grandmother was Rose Rosheisen who was Lucy Donyes half sister. I do have a chart on the Rosheisen family which was prepared by a member in the 1970's and is somewhat complete. My husband pased away and much of the info that I have is what I remember. There are some interesting stories that are told as Donyes was paid $500 to serve for someone in the Civil War and he bought a farm in Illinois for his wife Sarah and 4 children. He died in the war and is buried at Geettysburg.
