Raymond H. Matzke, 53, of rural Onaga died suddenly at his home last Thursday evening. He was the victim of a heart attack. He was born May 13, 1916 near Onaga and spent his entire life on the farm. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Duluth. On May 6, 1942, he was married to Lona Fischer, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Steven, 16, of the home; a brother, George Matzke of Wheaton, and three sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Gertrude) Honig of Duluth, Mrs. Alton (Margaret) Kufahl of Wheaton, and Mrs. Irwin (Clara) Wegner of Wamego. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Duluth with burial in the church cemetery. |
