Johann Paul lived in Maidencreek Township, just north of the village of Blandon on a 250 acre farm. His place of burial is unknown. Paul arrived in America with his mother in 1730. He was naturalized in 1744. He lived in Maidencreek and is listed as a Yoeman. He is reported as being an industrious, thrifty individual who accumulated a substantial amount of property. In Maidencreek, he owned a 250 acre farm on the road from Reading to Easton just a short distance NE of the borough of Blandon, adjacent to the farms of Samuel Bernhart, Phillip Miller and Stephen Bernet (the father of his daughter-in-law). He died on January 11, 1811 at Ruscombmanor. His place of buriel is unknown. Paul married Catherine or Margaretha Maurer, the daughter of Jacob Maurer of Philadelphia County.
