Per Leon Borst: ' 'William owned and operated an Inn on Allemaengel Road (now Long Lane Road) about a mile north of Mill Creek Road. He lost the property at Sheriff's sale. William Siegfried died 6Feb1827 and is buried next to his parents in the Siegfried Family Cemetery off Christman Road in Maxatawny Township, Berks Co. His wife is not buried there (at least there is no record of it). Perhaps she remarried after William's death.' ' |
