Abraham was living in Albany Twp, Berks Co, at the time of the wedding. He was identified as a ' 'stohrhalter' ', whatever that is (not in my German dictionary). In 1860, he took over operation of the Brobst Grist Mill near Albany, Albany Twp, Berks Co. This mill was earlier in the hands of Catherine's great-grandfather, Johannes F. Brobst (1750). His obit was published in the March 8 1889 Reading Eagle. |
