He is mourned besides his devoted wife, by six children: Mrs. Sylvia Nieman of Topeka and Walter, of Soldier, by his first wife, Emilie; and Mrs. Evelyn Miller of Havensville, Meryl and Orville of Topeka, and Mrs. Alice Schneider of Marion, Texas; by three sisters, Mrs. A. F. Kolterman, Mrs. Pauline Honig and Mrs. Wm. Honig; also by nine grandchildren. Mr. Brunkow was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Duluth.
