Notes on birth certificate: born at 130pm which was a Tues, also statesthat the father is C. J. Herman Lange, farmer. possibly Chas JosephHerman Cemetery lots were given to Lou and Elwin, by friend of Hilma's, FloydDennis. Louis held the title on them. Lou hauled coal during thedepression. He was born west of Kirkpatrick corners in Walworth. Lou used to give Donna nickels to buy Korn Kurls at a small factory thatmade them across from the Darien grade school. He was an unforgivingteaser and tickler. He is remembered as dancing a lot and having house parties with Virginia,his second wife, at the farm on Wise road near Darien, WI. |
