' 'Cuyahoga Falls -- Roy M. Zerby, 74, passed away May 28, 1997.
' 'Mr. Zerby was born in Bellefonte, Pa., resided in Cuyahoga Falls since1978, and previously lived in Ashtabula, Ashland, and Pennsylvania. Heretired as a civil engineer for the Ohio Department of Transportation,and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater withthe 12th Armored Division, U.S. Army, and was a volunteer driver for theRed Cross.
' 'He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jean; son and daughter-in-lawRichard and Leslie Shroyer of Rocheter, N.Y.; grandchildren, Hiilary andBrandon Shroyer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Nell Zerby ofBellefonte, Pa., and Guy and Mabel Zerby of Spring Mills, Pa.; and manymuch-loved nieces and nephews.
' 'There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be conductedat 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church Chapel of GoodShepherd, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls 44221, Dr. Forrest J. Wallerofficiating.
