According to Mason Spelts Zerbe, Sr.'s records, John and Magdalena ' 'livedon a farm, three miles east of Pinegrove, Pa, but moved to Indiana beforethe Civil War. Both were died and buried at Denver, Ind.' ' [v13t3696.FTW] The Miami Co. In Will Records 1843-1900, Slevin shows John Zerby willlisting his wife as Christiana and 8 children. Six of them agree withchildren listed for wife Magdalena in the Schuylkill Co. Blue Book. Ithas been assumed that the other two were borne by Christiana. However,they may be Magdalena's because the 1860 Census shows John, Christiana,Edward Vinrick age 1 born in PA, and Isack Vinrick age 12 born in PA.These may be Christiana's sons from a previous marriage. George and Marydo not appear on this census. |
