Mrs. Wilbur W. Kline succumbs in Brodhead
Brodhead, [Times Special Service] --- Mrs. Wilbur W. Kline, age 65, lifelong resident of Green county, died at 8 this morning in her home here. Death was caused by a stroke. She had been ailing almost three years, being bedfast most of the time. Elizabeth Bouer was born Sept. 29, 1869, in Sylvester township, the daughter of August and Louise Newbauer Bouer. She was married Dec. 31, 1889, in Brodhead to Wilbur W. Kline. They resided on farms in the vicinity of Juda and Brodhead, moving to the city of Brodhead in November 1919. Surviving are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Reasa and Mrs. Otto Aeschlimann, Brodhead; two grandchildren, Irene Reasa and Raymond Aeschlimann; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Myers, Beloit, and Mrs. Emma Elliot, Milton Junction, and four brothers, William, Juda; Peter, Brodhead; John, Rockton, Ill., and George Bouer, Janesville. One son, Robert died in 1897.
The body was taken to the Everson funeral home. Rev. E. W. Marks, pastor of the Brodhead Evangelical church, of which the deceased was a member, will officiate at the funeral, Interment will be in the Mt. Vernon cemetery in Juda.
