Obituary: "Monroe Times" [Monroe, Green Co, WI], 25 May 1928 [from transcription]: "Mrs. Rebecca J. Kline, 79, Is Called By Death Death claimed Mrs. Rebecca J. Kline, aged 79, at 12:40 yesterday at the home of her son, Wilbur. She had been ill less than a week. Rebecca J. Zimmerman was born March 19, 1849 in Salona, PA. She was married to Isaac Kline Aug 30, 1864 in Brodhead. Since coming to Wisconsin, she has spent practically all of her life in and near Brodhead. She was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical church of Brodhead for the past 11 years. She was a pleasant woman, one who loved her home. The deceased is survived by three sons, Wilbur, Brodhead; Charley and Floyd, Beloit; two daughters, Mrs. Peter Bouer, Brodhead; Mrs. Sadie Bade, Lake Mills; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Seven children and her husband have preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Sunday in the home and 2 in the Immanuel Evangelical church. Rev. E. E. Draeger will officiate. Burial will be in Beam [sic] Chapel cemetery, near the Illinois state line. |
