died at eleven years old...born in Carthage, IL where her father was a
professor in Carthage College...story of her lovely life as a child was
written byher mother in the from of Mary's own diary and gives
interesting details of happy visits back and forth among the various
Tressler families. When the Richards lived at York, PA, Mary and her
mother were visiting the Lark family atLykins, PA. Playing with her
cousins, Charles and Mabel Lark, in a small stream, Mary caught cold and
on the third day developed Diptheria of which shedied...buried at the
Lebanon Church Cemetery...
